DSO Exploit and CleverIEHooker.Jeired problems...

    hi!

    i ve been using spybot 1.3 and it keeps finding these 2 problems every time i restart winXp. i have 5 entries for DSO Exploit and 1 entry for CleverIEHooker.Jeired.

    can you help me?

    i followed LowWaterMarks instructions

    thank you very much for your help Pieter! its my first time going so deep (if this can be considered deep)...

    before checking your answer i run SpySweeper. so some of what you were telling me to fix were already gone. anyhow i fixed the rest i found. went to safe mode and deleted the things i had to delete.

    but when i restarted to normal mode i run spybot s&d and it found a "DSO Exploit" problem.

    I wouldn't worry about the DSO exploits that Spybot S&D warns you about too much for now.
    I have followed up on a few today and they were all quite harmless.

    Use AdAware as described here: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=15913 as a second opinion.

    thanks for your help Pieter!

    run AdAware first thing this morning, it found some problems which fixed them. restarted and run it one more time and it did not find any more problems.

    my log remains the same as the last i posted. so i guess i m clean for now.
