    Hello Forum,
Spider Guard is telling me it is not protecting my system. But the pop-up from the system tray says it's enabled.

    I can confirm.
i disabled spider gate and the guard does detect malware.

btw on another note i hope drweb decide to only have one autostart entrie in the final.
some av's only have a service and one autostart entrie and i hope drweb does the same.
no point in having loads of processes for no reason. it doesnt slow system down but does look messy and is uneeded.

I submitted this bug some time back. DrWeb say its a cosmetic bug, your protection is not down.

There is a similar cosmetic bug with Spam filters too. DrWeb Engine will say its unable to load filters, while they are actually done.

Think this will be fixed in next beta.:thumb:

    Sadly, I can't use it.

I have a file on my machine that doesn't play well with drwebs self protection.

Nobody really knows what this file is, and I ain't deleting a file from system32 if I don't know how or what it's used for.

    no, its not.

    prevx have already confirmed this.

and both have already confirmed the file is not a malicious one, but nobody really know what it belongs to. o_O

Been running it for 2 days and it is a :thumb:

Really nice and they have done a great job.

But, 2 issues. When I installed I told it not to install parental control and it did. Not a biggie as it is beta.

But, still no scheduler tab in tray icon for vista. That one is the one that perturbs me.

    Hello Jeff,
That is because on vista drweb uses the windows scheduler.
Simply type scheduler in to the windows search box. click on Task Scheduler accept Uac prompt. Then find then drweb update task that runs once an hour.

    And your sure if this?

Personally, I've never really asked about x64 versions, although I know it's in the workings.

    OK.... :doubt:
I stand corrected, as my friend has an Acer and it has 64bit OS ... this recent beta would not work on it.
    Cheers :)
