    Got 7 updated drivers a while ago and like any update, they MAY/MAY NOT work, or turn one's PC into a putty colored doorstop or boat anchor.

    SO... BEFORE I start updating any famous last words from the wise on arcane how-to, or, what not to do tidbits of info?

    Am doing this in part, to see if it may stop "rude reboots" from bugchecks, that I see too often and just one of those is "too often."

    Hello,
    More info would be nice.
    But before you update anything, at the very least system restore.
    If you got an imaging program, nothing to worry about.

    IMHO its better to get drivers directly from the manufacturer (e.g. NVIDIA, Lexmark, etc).

    WSFuser;

    When downloading drivers, the 1st box/choice is Vendor; 2nd and 3rd are mirrors. I assume/hope, that all 3 sites give one the same file, i.e., from the Vendor. Maybe not; could go back and click on Vendor download-choice, in ea. case if you think it wiser.

    Thanks,

    Well I meant to actually go to the manufacturer site and get the driver there. Im not too fond of "driver update" programs.
