The key "MountedDevices1" is a temporary key put there by Partition Magic. It is supposed to be deleted after PM finishes its operations. You can safely delete it.

Thanks Mark, I deleted Mounted devices1 and all is A OK. When I have some time tomorrow I may have a go at pruning the other Mounted Devices Key. Not that it has caused any problems but it sure looks like it contains a whole lot of redundant items.

    Xpilot,

I've deleted all entries from MountedDevices in the past. After a reboot your drive letters may not be what you had before but they can be changed in Disk Management to the previous letters. It sure cleans out the redundant entries from MountedDevices.
