keep in mind, as I already know, its ability to detect and clean is good enough for Hitman Pro. I am not going to say it is the best, but it is, the best for me. My memory usage on all 4 computers along with reads and writes is lower then anything I have used. It is a good product, exspensive, yes, but a very good product.

Is there a beta key needed for V7? I don't see one on the FTP.

Dr. Web indeed has some great capabilities, as far as I can remember it has always been really good against rogues and that type of malware. I am quite a fan of the CureIt! program, however I have never been a real fan of their realtime software.

Shouldn't they wait until it comes out of beta?

I wanted to try it but could not get it to install properly. Pretty much every element of it showed as disabled in the task tray.

Then to make matters worse, I couldn't uninstall it. Finally had to do a system restore. Oh well, maybe when it comes out in final.

Yep had the same experinece with errors and spiderguard was not running which essentially was useless software.

Then I installed version 6 with a trail license and tried an over the top install but it ask to remove 6 hence I did and installed V7. When it completed I enterd the license info of 6 and Wala was working.

I believe it is better(more reliable)to use drw_remover tool to uninstall the beta version.

i dont really see what the value of this post was, other than to simply be rude about someones legitimate feedback about a BETA in a thread that is about that product.

Come on now folks. Everyone's system is going to react differently to software. What works for me, won't work for someone else.

I wasnt being rude, why do you say that. I did have issues with F Secure and they are noted here in the forum. As far as if you think I was being rude to djohn, he and I are always competing and traded friendly barbs. He knows, as I it is all in jest.

But I respect all here and would never do anything rude......................
