Is there an easy program to use out there that will let me download all the images in a thumbnail gallery without right clicking and saving each one? I'm not talking about the thumbnails themselves, but the big pictures that you get on a separate page when you click on the thumbnails. I have tried a few of them, but they only seem to get the thumbnails. I also tried using FlashGot but it seems overly complex.

    Help is appreciated.

    Hello,
    Use ScrapBook extension for Firefox.
Choose the depth of links to follow and download.

But will it let me do this?

Say I have a page that contains many small thumbnail images, say 1.jpg through to 16.jpg.

Each jpeg is also a link.

Each link goes to an html page with the full size jpeg on it.

The full size jpeg for 1.jpg might be called something completely different, like 1_full.jpg.

Does the program you mention let me capture the full size jpeg for all 16 images?

[the reason I'm asking is because the ones that I've tried so far only capture the small thumbnail images, which I have no interest in]

    Thx

    Hello,

    After you install the extension.
Under options, you can see the depth of links to follow.
Depth 0 - only images on that page.
Depth 1 - images on the page and linked images.
    And so forth.

In other words, it's like changing directory. 0 is current. 1 is cd folder. 2 is cd folder cd folder. And so on.

When you choose Depth 1, it will download all the thumbnails, but also all of the linked images from that page.
