download of spywareblaster 3.0

    Hi,
    I,m new and have downloaded and installed release 2.6.1. Have checked for updates and get a message "there is an update available but it cannot be downloaded through this updater". I went to the wilderssecurity.net site as directed and downloaded version 3.0
    However it installs the same version that is already installed on my computer.
    Where am I going wrong?? :mad:
