Don't copy-paste commands from webpages — you can get hacked

    Well I discovered an issue with setting dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled to false.

    I know most folks here don't use Facebook, but I do. I lost the capability to paste in comments or new post. Setting this back to true fixes that.

    Firefox notified me that Copy PlainText wants more privileges: access to data on all tabs. Do you know why is this sudden requirement?

    I don't use Firefox and never have, so this comment may be well off beam.

    Same @xxJackxx - Any if there be commands first enter Notepad for review. Dumb simple and SAFE!

    Yes, I use this extension. Firefox warned me about permission changes after potential extension update. I didn't save the warning and decided to delete delete extension. I can copy paste through notepad instead.

    firefox copies all, the receiver chose the part of it, either with html or blank.
    users need to read the new requested permissions, if not understood asking and disable until some answered has advantage. anything else about permissions i wrote.
