Sorry you lost your dog Nat. I know youi told me he was acting funny. Was he a Shepard-Lab mix by chance? He looks a little Lab in the face.

You know, we have no idea what all was in him. Just shepherd, And... lol.

But he sure had the personality of that of a loving lab.

One thing was for certain though. He LOVED the snow !!!
We always called him "eskimo dog" because of it.

We didn't really care. ~ He was our beloved & special MUTT !!

The family's dog was bought for a guard.
Chained to a post in a chilly backyard.
Housed in a shed that was airless and dark,
And every few weeks had a run in the park.
When boredom set in with no fun and no work,

Pa couldn't fathom just why it went wild,
As it flattened his wife and then bit his child.
