Well, there's this:http://forums.peerblock.com/read.php?3,12664,12675. However, despite that, I am still not getting lists updates either. The supposed workaround for deleting .list files and not .p2p files will not work for me as there is nothing but .list files in my folder.

I'm not sure what to tell you honestly. Peerblock itself was dead for a long time as a project, but supposedly is coming back at some point. And this list issue has for some people gone on since January. There aren't many reliable sources for IP lists out there, and both major Torrent/P2P software and some security apps use BlueTack/IBlock as their sources. This issue could burn a lot of folks and not just pirates.

Edit: As a test, I went ahead and deleted all the .list files and tried to update. This did cause most of the lists to seemingly retrieve updates again. I say seemingly because I have no idea whatsoever if they are newer or if the same outdated lists just got sent to me.

Not sure if related, but for a couple weeks now (at least) I've been unable to access -http://bluetack.co.uk (The official website for the Bluetack lists)

Peerblock does download them from -http://iblocklist.com, so not sure if both situations are somehow related.

Are you by any chance downloading from bluetack website itself or from iblocklist?

    -edit-

There's also this forum thread about it: -http://www.iblocklist.com/forum.php?pid=3677

According to BlueTack:http://bluetack.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=20412 is the reason for the updating issue. We'll see over the next day or two. If I start having updating issues again tomorrow, I'll be questioning the real truth here. I can reach the BlueTack website just fine though. According to their front page, they're behind on the bills.

Something is still going on, at least on my end. I'm able to get updates for 1 list out of 9 still. The other 8 say they're updated already, which I find impossible considering they are P2P related lists.
