Does nod32 for Linux (on-demand scanner) detect windows based adware and spyware?

Also can it read/write NTFS partitions?

What is the price for single licence?

And about NTFS, it's the OS that provides access to filesystems, it's definitely not made at the application level.

If your distro includes NTFS access, scanning and cleaning NTFS partitions may work, if it does noes, it sure won't.

AFAIK, last time I checked, NTFS write support for Linux was quite uncommon and for those distros or kernels able to do it, was quite unusable, but as it is a topic I've not looked at for a while, I used may, just in case, um, linux "may" write NTFS partitions correctly as of now. :'(

FAT and all of its offsprings are perfectly supported AFAIK, but NTFS is a whole other story.

If I'm totally wrong and Linux is perfectly able to R/W NTFS partitions, I'd like to know which distros, kernel or patch does, thank you.

    I don't think so...

The NOD32 for Linux doesn't have all the feature of the Windows version...
That is why Jotti's online scanner can't detect all the type of malware that NOD32 can detect...

    Or I'm wrong?

I have tested NOD32 for Linux File Servers and it was able to detect adware and other unsafe applications.
    Look changelog here : http://www.nod32.com/products/lfs.htm
nod32lfs - adware and unsafe applications scanning support added.
