just for a while id like to install active@ on the same system as ifw but will they conflict as long as only one runs at a time? this is more for testing and i will eventually only run one im trying active@ because it seems easier for the wife to use than ifw is for things like scheduling i love ifw dont get me wrong but many cust i have suggested it to dont like it since it just not all integrated

    zfactor,

I don't know. IFW doesn't run any services but the PHYLock driver could cause a problem. I'd uninstall IFW while you are running your tests with Active@. When you reinstall IFW it will remember its registration.

I agree with Brian K regaridng removing Phylock. From my own testing, however, you can run IFW (with Phylock) and Paragon HDM together (which installs it's own filter driver). I never tried it with Active@ products. Better safe than sorry though!
