Hi everyone. I scanned for viruses last night with AVG Free Anti-Virus 8 and it found some viruses but I was never prompted to do anything with them. When I checked the virus vault, I found the stuff in there. Did AVG Free Anti-Virus 8 do this automatically? Do I still need to worry about infections on my computer? o_O

    no,

if quarantined in the virus vault, they are safe. :)

you can change these options to 'automatically quarantine' if you wish, but personally i would keep this setting.

if AVG makes a mistake, you can alert AVG to it, and quickly restore the file from within the virus vault.
