I have a number of bugs in 2302, mainly to do with using backup of files.

This is a summary of the issues I found :-

    1) Status display sometime stops updateing yet the backup process seems to
    continue in the background.
    2) Unhandeled exception whilst doing files backup.
    3) Application logs hangs and errors in the WinXP Event Viewer Log.
    4) The "before command" in backup jobs never works and terminates the
    backup.

I logged the full results in a PDF at the following link :

Is it me or is this version just riddled with holes o_O

I am having the same issue. it sounds like it is backing up and it is taking up disk space but it isn't updating the progress bar or the percentage reported on the system tray.

strangely, this is occuring on my "file backup" On a full backup of my c drive it is working properly.

I reinstalled my original version of acronis 9 (2 versions ago) and it is doing the same thing. Previously, it worked fine. this is driving me nuts

IMPORTANT! I noticed when I cancelled the backup, it left the disk space occupied even though there was no files listed at all on the drive. It used up most of my drive!! I didn't notice this for a while and didn't know why my drive seemed full. The only way to free up the drive that I could fine was a quick format. I wouldn't be able to do that if I had other data on the drive so this is a real problem. Where is acronis to help us?!?!?!o_O?
