Does AnVir Virus Destroyer work well?

    Not sure I would trust that site. Too many gramatical errors for my taste. Doesn't quite seem to have the PROFESSIONAL touch if you know what I mean. Additionally they accept donations through ICQ!!! Not a way that I would give out my credit card info. I think it's best to stay away from this one IMHO.

    The date is in fact 23 Aug 2004.
    Nevertheless, it was bothering me too. No news for one year. Makes you have second thoughts.
    Besides I never heard of AnVir and paying $39.95 for an adventure isn't my style. :)

    Nope, I just tried it... the entire program installed is only 500k!

    You are brave my friend. Something sounds wrong. I don't see how an AV could possibly be that small.

    Well technically even just virus databases without any program component can't be that small.
