Document protection

    Hi, I notice this seems to be disabled or un ticked in v5, what does it do exactly? I use office 2010 and often email attachments for excel etc, should I enable it?

    Thanks, I suppose it's disabled by default for performance and everything gets scanned on it's way into the pc and when I open the documents, so I just wondered why it was there as it seems a little pointless?

    Hello,

    It is a legacy feature from the 2.x days. It also gives some protection in case someone wants to scan just Office documents but turn off the other types of scanning.
