    I use 7-Zip.
    Use the password encryption for zipped folders.

    One thing I don't like is when extracting a zipped folder and opening a file
    it copies that file to a temp directory. I have to then Securely delete that file.

    It's free and open source which is good.

    I use a RAM disk for temporary directory and more, so no need to worry about that. Or you can use full disk encryption, which I also have.

    I do have it installed & use it sometimes but my fav has always been WinRar.

    7-Zip nice, light,quick & free
    WinRar as above but a paid app
    WinZip getting way too bloated with useless options & gimmicks
