I have Windows Essentials -Photo gallery, Writer, Mail, Messenger and Call installed in my system. I do not use any of them. I cannot uninstall them. I've started a thread about the removal but anyways, they just sit there doing nothing. I just wanted to know if you guys have the same experience. Best Wishes, ams963

Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? I remember Windows Live being a pain in the ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ to uninstall and reinstall before, i know how it is for you, I think it has improved, not sure though, I use Total Uninstall to deal with stubbon programs nowdays. I use the Mail client, works good.
Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? If you make a full system backup before installing something like that, removal is as easy as restoring that backup. Uninstallers are unreliable and often leave a lot behind. Regarding the poll question, I don't have Windows Live or anything else that MS considers "essentials" on any of my systems.
Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? Yes, I have the following Windows Live programs: - Windows Live Photo Gallery - Windows Live Movie Maker - Windows Live Messenger
Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? Yes, I have Windows Live Mail installed, been using that for a long time instead of Outlook.
I do have Windows Live Essentials installed in my system but i only have Windows Live Messenger installed because most people here use it. I don't have anything else from Windows Live.
Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? Me too. Serves me well. I had some weird issues with Outlook 2007, so I changed over to Live Mail and like it a lot.
Re: Do have Windows Live installed in your system? Messenger, Live Mail and Photo Gallery here. Mail and photo gallery are surprisingly good if your tied to the MS Live ecosystem, messenger is a bit clunky. Cheers, Nick.
I use Windows Live Mail religiously and I install Windows Live Messenger even though I rarely use it now ( I guess it is habit, I mostly use Facebook chat now which can also be added to messenger). I never install movie maker or the other things. I love Mail. I like it better than any email client I have ever used. I have been using it since it was called Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta years ago.
I quite like Windows Live. It's a tad heavy on my notebook though. Sometimes it's easier just to have Hotmail on a bookmark.
Same WLM only, but I did have Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant on Windows 7. Since I upgraded to Windows 8 RP, it's only WLM.
