    it's been a while since I was in here, but do you have to have Spyware Blaster and Gurad together? I've got Spybot S&D. The reason I asked was because the promo said SG is an addition to Spware Blaster's protection method. :)

    No, the two programs are completely separate and don't interact with each other even if you have both installed. The product descriptions do refer to each other simply because they complement each other very well. They use different protection methods, but have the same goal - preventing the installation or running of spyware.

    So, you can use one or the other, if you wish. However, if you use both together, then you are very likely to end up getting less spyware on your system.
