Do i need to use a firewall when i have NOD32?

    If i do can you recomand one? i am newbie to this so i dont know what firewall is good

    Firewall is first line of defense, so yes you need one.
    I'm biased towards LNS :D

    Hi Yobert,

    Yes I would recommend a firewall and if you are new to fire walls I would recommend a permit or deny based fire wall until you become familiar with rule based firewall as they can become complex in the rule making and understanding protocalls. There are just to name a few ...
    ( CrazyM and Blitzenzues ) that can help you more as they are both experts with firewalls.

    My siggestion to you to start off with would be Zone Alarm free or Sygate
