    OK thanks Innerpeace,

i have tried Sandboxie a little bit and have some familiarity and some
grasp of what it is doing. Returnil is a little more confusing, so ill have to
study it some more. There seems to be agreement on here by yourself
and others that both are worth running, so thats what ill try. (I have
just begun to get a grasp of the available malware scanners out there,
i dont have much knowledge on these kind of progrms though and HIPS
    stuff, etc)

Your welcome :). For what it's worth, I'm still trying to get a grasp on everything too. This time last year I was running Norton Internet Security :gack:.

I agree that Returnil is confusing for a beginner. Their help file helps some, but I had to ask a few questions and I'm still learning something new just about everyday by those asking questions here at Wilders. When I first installed Returnil RVS, I experimented with creating and moving files with protection on and then rebooting to see if they were gone. I then moved to downloading and installing simple safe programs and then rebooting to see if they were gone. I played around a lot and realized that with protection on, all changes to the system drive were gone on reboot.

    Cheers, innerpeace
