Do I need a HIPS and third-party dns

    Hi,

    Do I need to use a HIPS and a third-party dns service with my avast internet security? If so, which FREE ones do you guys recommend?

    Third-party DNS will definitely protect your entire network (when added on router) from malware with little downsides (maybe bit slower speed). Norton DNS is recommended. You can sign up for other categories.

    HIPS will helps experienced users, but not average people. It's not really necessary for you either, so I'm not recommending anything (unless you want one).
