Sorry if this has come up before.

Yesterday I updated a program on my WinXP SP2 machine (NewsReactor). The installer asked me f I wanted to run the program when done and L&S brought up a requester asking me if I wanted to allow this, etc.

Thing is the next day (after the computer had been turned off) I ran NewsReactor again and this time L&S brought up a window telling me there was a DLL change. (or whatever that exact message is again).

Shouldn't that message have come up when I first ran the new updated program; or am I misunderstanding how this should work?

    TIA

    Hi Uroboros
The update may not have completed 'fully',untill you'd done a reboot.
