    Hi there,

Disk Management Utility Windows utility is telling me something different from what the real story is.

Namely, that I've got a 166gb hard disk when I've got only 100gb.

That's because is showing a 10gb free space partition an a 50gb unallocated space that don't exist.

It doesn't seem to cause me any problem, right now, but I would like to know if there's a way to fix that.

    Many Thanks

    Hello Luca,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

I can recommend you to check the disks for errors.

    - Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)
    - Enter the command: "chkdsk DISK: /r"
where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that
checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If the problem persists after disk checking then please run Disk Management and create a screen shot of it. Please also create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

After that please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
