Disk Health?

    Just to keep you all busy so that you don't get bored.

    I went to PCPitstop to check my Disk Health and got this message:-

    "Unable to run Disk Health (Scanrating): Unknown(-1)"

    Does any kind soul out there know what that's all about Please??

    Do you have a type and brand for that HD?
    There might be better tools available then that online check.

    Yep! Pieter, I certainly have, it's:-

    SAMSUNG SV3002H (Hard Drive)
    (30.04 GB -- drive ), rev PV10)

    (Thank God for Belarc Advisor LOL :D)

    Thanks for that. The Samsung link didn't work for me either, had a look at your second suggestion....Wow! looks a might complicated to me, I'm just a simple man LOL. ;)

    Must admit though, it does look to be an interesting piece of kit eh? Do you have it?

    No, I don´t use it myself. My drives are Seagates and they have their own tools, but I did some searching on a Dutch forum I frequent and this is what the hardware specialists advised over there.

    Most kind of you to take the time to look. I think I may D/L that Disk Utility just to see what my HD is upto in there in the dark!!
