disk error uninstalling NOD32 RA?

I've got a hard drive that was a ghosted image of a fully functional machine - on booting the machine it's played up a little... windows firewall won't start, and there are a number of issues relating to that - however - this is major...

NOD32 won't start - IMON is greyed out - on-demand does fire up though.

NOD32 uninstall hangs

NOD32 RA uninstall comes back with: (111) disk error sg

any ideas what's happening and how to proceed with "cleanup"?

 

there are many problems on this image - I'm scrapping the ghosted disk as either NS or simply a bad ghost image... cheers though..
