I am about to assemble a new machine and probably will use SATA Drives.

Will Disk Director allow me to resize and move partitions on a SATA Drive?

    Thank you.

(This was mistakenly posted over in the True Image forum. Please forgive)

Yes, indeed it will, and you can also wipe the partitions/drive when you delete them so that no trace of any important files or data is left on the partition / drive.
Then all you do is create a partition / drive then restore an image or an OS.

It is - in my view - one of the best programs I have purchased.

I always wipe the partition and then create a partition (keeping the same size) then restore an image.
If you do that, just be aware that the partitions are indicates as FAT32 so just change it to NTFS - if you use it.

As I said in my first reply, Super! Is this also true for the bootable recovery disk?

    Thanks again.

The DD CD uses the Full and Safe Modes just like TI does. If the Linux drivers in the Full Mode don't correctly see your drives, you can usually use the Safe Mode version.

The Full and Safe Mode versions both support the same features as the Windows version. Personally, I usually use the Safe Mode version or DD from BartPE.
