"disk and Registry Alert" is it any good

    I don't know that I'd trust it.. I hate to advise against independant developers, but these days it's hard to tell. Besides that, the price seems a little steep, especially when there are freebies that will do the same thing, maybe better. InstallSpy and FingerPrint immediatly come to mind, both available at http://www.2brightsparks.com/freeware/freeware-hub.html

    I also have a hard time trusting developers that make keyloggers along with other security apps.
