    Honestly, I'm not really surprised, considering the state of Linux since a while.
    I still like, and use, Mint 18.1 though.

    USA still the best. But barely.
    So far any of the crazy package mangers I've found on different versions of different Distros. If they're not right I just install Synaptic. It's almost always in the repos.

    I always use Synaptic, but it's more a geek thing IMHO.

    Another cool one on a few Distros is SystemBack then Upgrade. Like apt-get with an easier interface & no code to remember.
