I have a DELL Inspiron laptop with a 40Gb HD. I have new Seagate 100Gb 2.5" drive in an external USB 2.0 enclosure. Is it possible to use True Image to clone from the internal drive of my laptop to the external drive in the USB enclosure ?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Thanks...

    Marcelo

    Hello Marcelo,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis System Transferring Software.

It is possible to clone the internal drive to the external one, and vice versa as well as to clone the internal drive to another internal drive. Did you get any problems doing that? When you clone the drive please pay attention to which drive is the source one and which one is target.

    Thank you.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will tonight, and I'll post my responses back on the forum tomorrow. Here's hoping that all goes well.

    Thanks,

    Marcelo
