Disabled protection on one item

I am running Spyware Blaster 4.0 and I have one item in IE that will not let me enable protection. I have manually went in and checked the box and pushed enable protection and it will uncheck itself. The item is Protection Bar. There are a few others of these listed in the database and they are protected against. I tried rebooting and still have the same problem. I am using AVG 8.0 and Ad-Aware. I also use Zone Alarm. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
