I just downloaded Processguard and it is now version 3.5 instead of the 3.15 version.

Got an e mail from a forum member alerting me to the 3.5 ver. D/l`d it but currently do not have a test machine to try it on. 3.4.1 is the last "safe" (?) vers. I have. 3.5 shows as the exact same size.

Some one braver then myself will have to be the guinea pig on this one.

I checked it out and installed it. Seems to be the real deal. I ran Rot Repeal and a couple other tools afterword and it didnt find anything.

Yes, my old 3.4x - key works with 3.5. But I haven't tested more than checking the key because today I was not at my own computer.

The filesize of 3.5 is 1600353 bytes, the 3.41 has 1599732 bytes.

One says size is different, the other it's the same.
    Might as well post MD5 of both 3.4 and 3.5 . :)

I must be missing something here but we are talking about a security program. Why would I want to install a program from a site that is clearly dubious

I actually have paid PG 3.41 but eventually uninstalled it as I prefer other software now. I don't know what happened to DCS despite reading the threads here, but the half-hearted attempts to explain their "temporary" absence and the shroud of uncertainty over their website totally disqualifies them in my book.

beethoven, i can understand your doubts, however it is one fact that DCS is dismissed from this forum. On the other side they still sell software with an EULA and under a certain kind of law. If there is something bad found in their stuff, i guess that they would be hunted down soon.

I got the email too. What I found strange is it wasn't the email address I used when I bought their stuff.

Why won't they allow us into the "Member's Area"?
Most of us have our keys and serials there and they won't
give us access and demand we buy the programs again!
Is this what they call "customer service"
As far as I'm concerned, this is a proof that certain rogue elements took
over the site and Wayne has nothing to do with it

Greetings from Leon Springs, Texas USofA,

I have been using the RegProt program for several years and like it very much because it is small and monitors the Registry for any activity.

Recently purchased license for ProcessGuard and like it very much as well, still making attempts to learn more about how to setup and use this program. Being only a USER not technically efficient with software, Journeyman Electronics Technician with about 60 years experience. Troubleshooting is my natural means of keeping me out of trouble and my system in operation.

I too have sent several messages to DiamondCS without any replies, it took me three days to get my serial # and several e-mails to prod them into doing something for me.

Where is this site for Support of paying customers? Have not seen anything about that, have been looking for a place to maybe find some support or other users that know more than I. That means anyone, as I am not very smart when it comes to this system, IN MY SIG.

Greetings fellow Texan! DiamonCS used to have a support forum here at Wilders, but it was closed. Reading between the lines, all I know is that the DiamondCS forum was closed for a very, very good reason -- (perhaps to protect US from DiamondCS?)

Agreed. If and when circumstances warrant, the topic can be reinitiated. For the present, we'll close the discussion here.
