    Might that 33 dollar price be roughly in the neighborhood of what it cost Dell to manufacture each of those laptops? lol!

    What?! I was guessing an 8-10% profit margin, higher if the computer is higher-end. Those were Alienware laptops. Well, it's got to be higher nowadays, in 2016. They didn't say how many machines were sacrificed due to this error, but a few hundred or more maybe? Job opening at the advertising software firm, available NOW. And Dell has to honor it--good! For once, people can take advantage of a mistake, rather than the other way around, though personally, my conscience would be bothering me afterward.

    What makes PC's profitable are those aggravating FREE trials of software.
