I have Windows XP and use NOD32 for AV; we have v2.7.

I use Pegasus as a mailing program. I have no issues when downloading and sending email or moving email to a folder. I *do* have problems when deleting email from my inbox.

When I delete emails, the entire system comes to a grinding halt, until the email has been deleted from the inbox. If I delete multiple emails, it can take up to 10 minutes for everything to clear up. My deleted emails go to a deleted messages folder, sort of like a "trash can". I have set the IMON setup to not put notifications in emails.

I have had this issue since starting the nod32 trial, and it's continued since we bought the full version.

Can anyone shed light on what may be happening? I've scoured the Pegasus help forums and asked there, but there's been no reply in weeks now.

    Thank you in advance.

Me too! On a very basic, slow PC.

I can't confirm your symptoms so it may be something other than NOD that's causing the problem. Did you fully uninstall your previous AV? Was it Norton?

I just found out what it was. It was the settings in Pegasus for compacting folders after deleting x amount of bytes. My settings were 24000 bytes, and I increased that to 2400000 bytes. It looks as though the folder was constantly trying to compress itself?

    Thank you :)
