You used to use OA free right? Why did you get rid of it? What kind of conflict did you have with DW? Or was it something else?

Yea Ive heard about that. But what about inbound protection though?

Also everytime I startup DW loads a screen asking me whether I wish to enter my license or trial the product. Is this natural?

Yes, there should be no significant problems.

Surely, not. You need run it as trusted in order to update FF and it's extensions.

I'll get my new laptop in a couple of hours, and I will install and use DW for the first time. As a newbie, I have 2 questions :

    1) Is there any "recover" option, just like in SbxIE, if one wants to download sth and save it in one's documents ?

    2) What about Windows updates ? Does DW automatically allow them ?

So I temporarily run it as trusted? Will it automatically run as untrusted again once ive closed it down? or will i have to manually add it to untrusted again?

Also is it natural for DW to nag me every time it starts up while on trial?

    Just the one.
Yes. Purchase and it goes away.
No; if you do find any compatibility problems, support is superb. CPU time can be heavy, however.

How necessary is it for me to enable this option? How likely is DW to forget to run apps on the built in list as untrusted?

Built-in list is just about internal product's database. It's not about untrusted applications list itself.

Not likely at all. If the application is in your untrusted list, don't worry, it will remain there unless you decide otherwise.

it is like all files that are untrusted is like they are quarentine or jail untill you trust them, then you make them trusted, you are in control;)

if you right click and select run as trusted..yes this sentence is valid..but if u mistake it and select change status to trusted, then it will always run as trusted, until you change it back to untrusted.
    cheers
