My experience was that ScriptDefender has a serious uninstall problem, it doesn't undo the interceptions during uninstalling and that causes problems. For instance, I couldn't open my event viewer anymore
I tried to report this bug, but the link to report this didn't work anymore.

I am trying out the Sandboxie/Defensewall combo too and have found no issues with running them togeather so far. Also running Dr Web and Prevx with them and they all seem to get along togeather.

Theres absolutely no need for any script defender where EQS (HIPS) is in use. It covers every single extension known to Windows as well as imaginary ones either you or some malware author might dream up.

EQS file protections and script coverages are second to none on my book.

    Hi,

I have been running DW and SBIE together for the last month or so, I do not find any adverse effect, rather many positive coverages.

By utilizing SBIE's isolation approach plus DW's restricted rights methodology, my system is now more immune to any unexpected attacks.

It is well known that SBIE has anti leak weakness, some malwares can detect its virtualization environment and take evasive actions, and also that MSN virus may break the shield. IMO,These deficiencies may be saved by DW's features.

Although some people complained that in DW's untrusted condition, applications with password-enhanced features fears its password may stand naked and be vulnerable to any attacks. This worry perhaps can be lifted by using Banking-- option ?

I firmly believe that DW plus SBIE is definite a "one plus one equals two" case.

It,s nothing special. Script coverage is same as most of HIPS and File Defence is also same as in other HIPS having such a feature.

Nothing special with EQS in this regard IMO, if there is anythging pls let us know.

    Ilya, Aigle see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=24595

Scriptdefender is a simple configurable startup warning for scripts. Because it starts untrusted, DW takes care that all scripst (when allowed) also run untrusted. So even when saying yes to a script it is protected by DW.

    Regards

Why bother for this? Isn,t it better to mark scripting host untrusted or just to disable it.
