    Hi, is this version still rock solid? I use it on win xp and got the program free through a gizmo promotion.This computer is not my main pc.

    If it was part of the Gizmo giveaway I think that version had some issues with Chrome browsers. Other than that, no issues I recall.

    Is 2.56 rock solid these days? I doubt, why?
    Have look carefully at DefenseWall changelog - from April 20, 2010 (v3.00 version has been released) http://softsphere.com/news/
    As you can see from v2.56 to current v3.16 there was a lot of improvements not only at security level but also in performance of this application.

    Ilya is very busy developer - he tries to be always few steps ahead if we are talking about security terms. :thumb:

    2.56 is highly outdated thing.

    You mean Gizmo's lisence only works with 2.56 version, no free upgrades? Bammer...

    it only works with gizmo version.. No updates..
