    What you're saying is true, kind of. The standard user license will expire after the set date, thus you will not be able to use it. In order to avoid that situation you need to buy a perpetual license, which is $50 + $10 annually. If that were not true why would they differentiate between standard and perpetual licenses?

    Not according to a call I have made 2 days ago. I specifically asked about perpetual license and the sales agent said that now all licenses are sold as a lifetime with charges only applying to upgrades. He has also confirmed that you can use the program indefinitely even if you do not buy the $10 upgrade. Of course before you buy anything i suggest you get it in writing.
