Deep Freeze Ubuntu.

    That's nice, a Returnil for Ubuntu. Have you tried it yet ? :thumb:

    Yep and it runs fine on one of the PCs at the univ, haven't tried it yet on my personal PCs.

    Couldn't find much specifics on how it works in detail but since it's a software solution, of course it can be bypassed, at least theoretically. Only with a hardware read only switch for the storage devices and some way to verify BIOS and firmwares on another trusted system you could guarantee nothing stays behind.

    I tried it. seems it makes a copy of ur home directory duiring freeze to recover it back on un-freeze. On default install, it,s ok as home uis almost empty.

    I have lot of data in my Home. It tooks a long long time during freeze( practically unacceptable at all) and on reboot I faced problems with file architecture corruption.

    This software is not usable at all in its current state. :thumbd:
