There is a very effective prevention method to such issues, something which humanity was doing for thousands of years before the Internet and still does. Going out and meeting your fellow human.

I agree Dave. Computers have their place and theres good things to be found online, but social media isn't one of them.

It really depends. Internet forums like Wilders is fine in my book. But when it's about dating or anything important/very personal, then real-life activities are the proper way to go. I mean, seriously, where's the fun of dating online? :p

Social media and twitch gaming on smartphones. Perfect ingredients for stupid-making.

I can probably ask my neighbour that, I have seen around 5 different ladies walk through his door during the past year, IMO he should prioritise he's 2 kids that he sometimes have on the weekends a little bit more than getting a new relationship, if that's what he's trying to do then he's not very good at it. And he should take a look at his alcohol consumption too.

Why I think he made contact/dated online is that he doesn't "go out" to a bar or whatever that often so there's no way he could be able to get 5 women in a year in any other way. Lately he have started to talk about a swingers club too o_O

I didn't say it in the post, but yes that's what I have been thinking for quite some time now, considering his habits and behavior.

I know a couple of people who are doing the online dating. Once they meet, the "relationships" are usually over in 2 weeks or less. A fair percentage of those involved in this are looking for someone to live off of, aka a leech.
