    Anyone else out there getting hit with "DataMiner"SpywayreNlaster doesnt seem to be aware of this one.

    Yes, have had Data Miners and one in particular was Red Sherrif. A wee freebie program called IE-Spyad will take care of them. If you look under "Updates", you will find a thread for IE-Spyad and there will be a link for you where you can download the software. In the meantime, you can have data miners removed with Ad-Aware &/or SpyBot. I think, if memory serves me correctly, that data miners use java applets to enter a computer. IE-Spyad will cure that. :)
