I am confused and would like to know exactly how to do this. I want to perform one full image backup, lets say today, and from then on do a differential backup every day at 4pm. I expect this to take less space and time than always doing full images. When I first tried it I noticed Acronis kept saving each differential and eventually then I'd run out of space. The help desk gave me another option, but that seems to be doing a full image each day.

Can anyone tell me simply how to do what I want?

What version of Ti do you have?

Ti2009 has no 'Backup Location' anymore...

    Hello mwinnick ,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

The latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2009 (9646) has the ability to create desired number of incremental/differential backup archives after the full backup. The functionality is similar to Backup Location Management in earlier product versions (Acronis True Image 10.0 Home and Acronis True Image 11 Home). You can find it in Optional Steps -> Backup Method while performing backup wizard setup.

    Best regards,
