Cyberhawk 2.03 warned that BOClean was a potentially malicious application that wanted internet access. After allowing it, they both ran well. Then I uninstalled Cyberhawk!

I tested it today, but had freeze of the PC:
the CHservice used 100% of CPU.
Could not stop it through tasmanager (good), but setting the prority of the task to low, I was able to get the control panel and deinstall it.
The first freeze occured after install and at the end of the tour. The second occured after 10 minutes of use.
Good thing: the deinstaller does not let any trace of the software: no files and nothing in the registry.

Back to 2.0.2. The latest version 2.0.3 slows my pc dramatically when surfing, plus I also had - for the first time, never with .0.2 - warnings for a couple of very trusted proggies as keyloggers

Performance and stability are important. Those FP's (i got one too) are indicating that CH is more aggressive. If you trust those apps, allow them, and it's fine. The problem would be FP's for other apps.

    Sorry for all the fps.
We are trying newer, more aggressive behavioral rules. We are working on a fix asap for those warnings.

I'm watching it closely, so far it flagged only one item as keylogger so i'm reshuffling some apps, doing a couple of different reinstalls and monitor CH behavior. It is grown more agressive which can be a very good thing but don't try to knock it out of APT by DiamondCS in kernel kill mode or it'll freak you out with a BSOD. That's a self-protect mechanism i presume.

Hi, folks: I concur. Many residues and ophaned DLL are left behind. Few of app's built-in uninstallers can handle the cleanup completely and properly. Third party reg cleaner and reg editor are probably better tools.

When will this fine looking program grow up? I have no distrust when it comes to actual malware blockage but isn't it rather easy for a program to flag every clean program for a specif malware, in it's case keyloggers?

Y don't they call it superantikeylogger.

Question, would you be better protected with:

    1. Cyberhawk only or

    2. Spyware Terminator (ST) Only (with HIPS enabled) or

    3. Cyberhawk with ST (ST HIPS disabled)

Running ST with HIPS enabled and cyberhawk is just not realistic on my machine.

Do you think that Cyberhawk adds anything to F-Secure with Blacklight?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Cyberhwak give protection against the most of malware that Fsecure (any antivitus) haven't got on his database, or his real time protection don't detects.

I think that cyberhawks add protection for all anti-virus, is something like "tru prevent" of panda antivirus
