I don't have any problems now. I use different WXPP nLited version now... Maybe I removed too much for the last time.

    Hi Bill,

When are you seeing this error occur?
After you restart or on shutdown?
    When bring the CH UI?
    After an Alert is triggered?

Did you have a previous version of Cyberhawk installed, were there problems upgrading?

Have you tried a reinstall? I know typical support mumbo jumbo but can't hurt.

    - Uninstall via Add/Remove Programs
    - Restart PC
    - Navigate to:
----%program files%\Common Files\Novatix delete Cyberhawk dir, if present
----%program files%\Novatix delete Cyberhawk dir, if present

We have not seen this error come up before, any information you can provide me on how to reproduce would be great.

Let me know thanks. Visit our support site so we can better assist you, http://www.novatix.com/support.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the update MikeNAS. Your mentioning of a nLited version of XP is a clue. Cyberhawk does rely on some XP and IE components for its functionality.

I have a problem with it. Whenever I try uninstalling a program from my computer, Cyberhawk hooks into the uninstall executable (thereby making it not deletable). I end up having to use Unlocker to be able to delete it.

    Hi Zero3K,
What program and file is Cyberhawk triggering on?
Are these tmp files or msiexec.exe?
Does this occur if you allow the triggered alert by the uninstall?

There are occasions where an uninstaller will create a tmp file that causes Cyberhawk to trigger an alert, is here you're seeing it.

Once you see the trigger are you denying the action? There is an issue where once a file is Denied Cyberhawk will keep a handle open on that file for a period of time. We have fixed that issue it'll be available in our upcoming release.

Anymore info you can provide will be helpful in tracking this down.

I receive no alerts. It happens on any program that uses the Nullsoft Install System uninstaller.
