    The attack led to distribution delays in the Saturday edition of The Times, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun and several other major newspapers that operate on a shared production platform. It also stymied distribution of the West Coast editions of the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, which are all printed at the Los Angeles Times’ Olympic printing plant in downtown Los Angeles...

    North Korea Implicated In Attack That Stops Wall Street Journal And New York Times Presses

    "...Forbes reports that the malware Tribune Publishing discovered was a version of the Ryuk ransomware family, which is often attributed to the Lazarus Group. The hacking collective is thought to operate out of China but has links to North Korea.     Yeah. Admitting to getting pwned by ransomware is just so lame. So they gotta scream "nation-state cyberattack !!!" to save face.
