Is it possible to modify/create a TI boot disc that will run a custom script to 'auto' restore an image from a network drive (without any intervention from the end user)?

Even better, to be able to modify the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager to use a network drive instead of the secure zone.

Basically, we are trying to find ways to remotely restore images with minimal involvement from the end user. Ideally, a Wake On Lan feature with a network manager would be great (ie. Ghost / Altiris have such feature). Otherwise, the options above would be adequate for now.

    Thanks for any help,
    Chris

    Hello Chris,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

We regret to inform you that current version of Acronis True Image doesn't support remote restoration. Our Development Team is working on this feature and we expect it to be implemented in future versions of our software.

    Thank you.

So I'm assuming there's also no way now to create an automated script for the Boot CD or a script for the recovery manager?

Please consider including two methods in the next version (1. Automated script for local bare metal CD/Startup Recovery. 2. Wake On Lan for remote bare metal Network Recovery)

    Thanks!
    Chris
