It stopped detecting anything for me. Neither a clean install or a reinstall fixed it on Win 8.1 64bit.

Nevermind started working by itself a bit later.

    Kardo,

    Thanks for this new version!

One thing that could be improved is the CPU usage. Hope you can do something about this... :)

    Hi Kardo Kristal

Regard to the translation activity you should use transifex that is very easy to use and convenient for translators. I've used for some projects that I've done translations and I found myself very well. Here the link: https://www.transifex.com/

    With Best Regards

    Hello everyone.

I hope you are all doing well. Today I would like to introduce the new developer at Crystal Security!
His name is Stefan Tafkov and he has previously worked at other security-related companies.

I am hopeful for the future of Crystal Security with the new developer, and there should be some nice updates soon!

    :)

    Regards,
    Kardo

  13. Perpetual bug in 3.2

When you add a folder in the custom settings and press apply, it resets the defaults.

Reason this options disappeared in 3.5 is not being able to fix this in 3.2?

Just tried to launch all office programs, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote and Crystal Security detected all processes. I tested it on 32-bit system (Windows 7).
I started Crystal Security with admin rights. You can see my screenshot of successful test.. Anyway.. I'll look into it. Thanks @Windows_Security (Kees) for the report. ;)

Hmm. I just tried to add custom folder to Protection scope, clicked "Apply", then restarted Crystal Security and everything is fine (custom folder listed). "Custom folder" feature is not gone, you can still use custom folders for monitoring. Take a look at screenshots:

    @kardokristal ,

Can we have the option to set the default state of "Upload file for analysis" and "Remember (permanent rule)"?

Where can we see the Remember (permanent rule) list?

Like @phalanaxus said (Thanks), Settings -> Protection -> Unknown files -> Upload :)
If you allow file then file is available in Whitelist, if you block file, then file is in Blacklist section.

    Kardo

    Hello,

Here is a tutorial of Shell integration feature. Please follow the instructions to enable and use this feature properly in Crystal Security. :)

    1. Launch Crystal Security program and navigate to Settings
    2. Under Settings -> Choose General tab -> Tick Shell integration check box -> Click Apply (wait a moment)

    3. If feature applied successfully then you can see that Shell integration was analyzed by Crystal Security.
Shell integration executable is located under AppData\Crystal Security\3.5 Beta\ folder.

    4. Finally, choose some file (one) or directory (one) and make right-click on selected item -> Click on Analyze with Crystal Security.
Now you should see under Overview section your selected and analyzed files.

I have installed the latest portable version, yesterday.

See comparison snapshots. See currently analyzing. Doesn't look right to me.

Thanks for the report. Indeed, I look into it and this minor bug will be fixed.
One thing you should try is to launch some program or create new file and see if it changes it. :)
