Well I tested it and it still needs work. It still let malwares through, although warning popped up and auto-decided and even with removing option checked. I ran a scan and still malwares left. The proactive part still needs more work to be more robust and be able to clean and remove better. Also a better detection is needed.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback.

I agree with you that Crystal Security needs a better detection. As already mentioned in changelog..Internal database is currently experimental feature and will be fully integrated in the future (next BETA cycle).
It means that bigger database with automatic updates function will be added. Also it is optional to use Internal database. ;)

    Regards,
    Kardo

great to hear it. Hopefully it happens soon. I am looking for something as robust as secureaplus but without its compatibility and other issues. If crystal security can reach the level of secureaplus, then its a defiantly better apps, since I do not have any issues with it as I had with secureaplus.

    Hi,

This feature is currently experimental (no visible options).
Internal database will be fully integrated (updates and other options) in the future (next Beta cycle).

    Regards,
    Kardo

    Hi,

    Your suggestions
    1. A real-time search filter for overview, white list and blacklist tabs.
    2. Detailed status for uploads (i.e. example.exe , 3 mb/14 mb, eta 10 mins).
    3. Tab for unknowns waiting for analysis.
    4. Offline database - optional.
I'll try to implement all your suggestions (next Beta cycle). :)

Currently I can't tell the exact ETA date.. sorry about that. I can tell that next version will be "Stable".
I'll make some changes in update process.

    Regards,
    Kardo

    Hi Kardo,
Maybe I was premature, seems I may have found one bug in the .Net framework. CS failed to connect to Virus total.

With thanks to Kardo and a bit of detective work this end, it appears that the above problem I was getting was due to a possible corrupted Firewall rule, once deleted and redone everything at the moment seems to be working fine.
So thanks and apologies to Kardo, the problem was at this end and not within his App. :thumb:

For Threat level=0, maybe better description would be None, instead of Very low.

    Yeah, "Block" actually means "Quarantine".
Maybe I should rename Block to Quarantine or change description text a little bit.
I'll try to bring more screenshots very soon and all your great suggestions will be implemented. :)

    Kardo

Thank your for your feedback! I am glad you like it. :)

Currently Crystal Security detects already started applications (processes).
Program identifies and analyzes the new processes quickly.

    Regards,
    Kardo
