Using Acronis Version 8 fully updated. I have used the program to back up the hard drive on my PC to an external hard drive attached to the PC - successful. However, when I try to back up my Notebook through my home network, I get the message "file, location or format invalid, please type correct file or location in correct format". I have tried umpteen variations of file name etc but without success even though Acronis automatically gives me the start of the file name when clicking on the external drive in Our Network. Can you advise what I am doing wrong or does Acronis not work in a home network situation.
