I too was having problems creating a bootable CD...I finally uninstalled both 9 and the new version 10 and then reinstalled 10.0 clean.

Quick gotcha...in doing it this way I had to provide my serial numbers for both 9 and 10 in order to install; so before removing 9.0 make sure you have your serial numbers. Just to be clear on this, I purchased the upgrade and thus the need to "prove" that I owned an upgradeable copy of the software after I had removed it for the clean install of 10.0.

True you will need both ser#s for the upgrade installer but if you don't have your previous ver Ser# handy, you can always just log into your Acronis account and grab it from your registered products page. They list your ser#s there which is a very handy thing in itself.

Under the common files directory, I have for the file version on MediaBuilder.exe = 9,3,0,68. This I got by right clicking on the file and selecting properties. My ver 10 is displaying correctly in the screen as well.

So I think that is the current version of the exe file under ver 10 of the app.
